How is Unbordr different from a regular visa agent?
About Unbordr
Three differences matter most: We're tech-led. You track your application through a dashboard, not on a WhatsApp thread that gets lost. We're transparent. Our pricing is published, quoted per file, and visible before you start. There are no hidden fees, no agent markups on the visa fee, no pressure to upgrade. We're honest. We don't promise approvals, because nobody honest can. We promise the strongest possible file, and we tell you the truth about your chances. What are Unbordr's pricing tiers?
Our packages and pricing
Everything is a fixed price, shown before you book. Nothing is quoted, and nothing is charged until you choose it.
• General consultation: ₹1,000. An hour with an advisor for any Schengen question. Which country to apply through, when to start, whether your situation is workable.
• Refusal Recovery: ₹1,000. An hour on a refusal you have already had. We read the notice before the call.
• Document verification: ₹1,499. An hour going through a file you have assembled yourself, document by document.
• Appointment day support: ₹1,000. A brief on your own VFS or BLS centre the evening before, and an advisor on WhatsApp and the phone through the day you submit.
• Document Builder: ₹199 for a cover letter, ₹149 for a sponsorship affidavit or a parent NOC. You pay for the finished document, not for making it.
Verification and appointment day bought together are ₹1,899 rather than ₹2,499.
The readiness check and the document checklist are free and need no account. How long does the Unbordr process take?
How the process works
Our part is an hour, booked for a time you choose, usually within a few days. A document from the Document Builder is ready at once. The visa processing time itself is decided by the consulate, not by us, and that is the part worth planning around.
Realistic ranges:
• Off-peak (October to February): 7 to 15 working days from biometric submission.
• Peak (March to August, December): 2 to 6 weeks.
Some applications take longer due to administrative processing. We recommend starting your Unbordr journey at least 6 weeks before your trip in off-peak, and 8 to 10 weeks before in peak season. What documents do I need for a Schengen visa?
Documents and eligibility
The core document set for an Indian applicant typically includes:
• Valid passport with at least 3 months of validity beyond intended return.
• Two recent Schengen-format photographs.
• Completed visa application form.
• Cover letter explaining the trip.
• Day-by-day itinerary.
• Round-trip flight reservation.
• Hotel bookings.
• Schengen-compliant travel insurance with €30,000 medical coverage.
• Bank statements for the last 3 to 6 months.
• Last 3 years of ITRs.
• Salary slips and Form 16, or equivalent self-employed documents.
• Employer NOC and leave letter.
Unbordr's dashboard generates a country-specific checklist tailored to your profile, so you don't have to figure this out yourself. What happens if my visa gets refused?
Refusal and Refusal Recovery
If your visa is refused, the consulate will issue a refusal letter listing one or more reasons under Article 32 of the EU Visa Code. The letter is the most important document in any refusal. It tells you exactly what the consulate flagged. From there, you have two options: appeal the decision, or reapply with a stronger file. Which one makes sense depends on the reason for refusal. Our Refusal Recovery service helps you decide and rebuild. What is your refund policy?
Payments, refunds, privacy and trust
Our refund policy is simple and transparent: If you cancel before we begin work on your file (typically within 24 hours of payment), you get a full refund minus the payment gateway charge. If you cancel after we've started work, refunds are pro-rated based on what's been delivered. Once the file is delivered to you, the service fee is non-refundable, regardless of the consulate's decision. The work is complete. If your visa is refused, Refusal Recovery (₹1,000 for the hour) is where to start on the next attempt. Add-on services are non-refundable once delivered. One hour with an advisor. Bring the question you cannot answer yourself.
